Nova Galaxy Village sits in a beautiful property in the woods by the river. The glass huts were thoughtfully appointed with everything you could possibly need fit into a tiny space. The restaurant on property not only had delicious food, but was an experience itself - watching the chef cook everything over an open flame in the middle of the space. The staff were helpful and friendly. We loved feeding the reindeer and visiting with the sled dogs. The sauna was spectacular!

Amazing hotel, the location is best to relax after the long trip. It is surrounded by a very small community, a super market and that's it. The hotel rooms are spacious, the bed is comfy, the bathroom is spacious, they have android tv which is cherry on top. You can make your own food or bbq if you want. I loved the location. We also got sauna for free at no additional cost.

Þetta hótel er staðsett á eyjunni Vartiosaari og býður upp á herbergi með finnskri hönnun og ókeypis WiFi. Til að komast að eyjunni þarf að fara um 72 metra langa hengibrú yfir Kemijoki-ána. Run by lovely, really helpful and down to earth people. We did the ice plunging in the river, which was done professionally and safe. Good selection of the continental breakfast and had a nice homely hearty dinner, which we booked in the morning.

Friendly staff. Great selection for breakfast. Breakfast got busy at times but manageable. Lovely quiet rooms. Nice and warm. Rooms were compact but more than enough for a base. They were great at putting our 2 rooms together.
