Facing the beachfront, Palladium Hotel Menorca offers 4-star accommodation in Arenal d'en Castell and has a fitness centre, terrace and restaurant. The property sits on a hill, overlooking the Playa Arenal d'en Castell beach. I had an oceanview room, and it was so beautiful. It appears that the rooms and property have been recently renovated. Everything was in great condition. The beach and shops are a 10-15 minute walk down the hill - the hotel offers a shuttle service or you can walk if you are in healthy shape. The hotel is a quick drive from Mahon airport. We did the all-inclusive options and found it to be super convenient and worth the value. The food options are excellent for each meal, and basic alcohol was included. The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The beach is wonderful. My mom and sister did a day of sunning (20 euro for two chairs with umbrella for the day), while I did some hiking on the rocks. Overall, I really enjoyed this property and would stay there again.

Aparthotel Beach Club offers accommodation in Son Parc. Ciutadella is 28 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Great pool, we had a very nice view of the sea, easy access to the beach (walking distance, as promised), very good family atmosphere, nice and polite customers around. Staff was very friendly. There was easy parking, and the supermarket was very close to the apartment. We needed a pharmacy and it was also in the same "urbanización" (village).

The neighbourhood was really calm in September. If you want to avoid the crowd and noise, traffic jams and closed beaches packed with tourist, this is the best time to visit.

As we were there in September, the place and the village were calm. The flat was well equipped for more days stay, spacy. Parking place available. Julie was attentive, helpful. We liked everything there!

It felt like a safari lodge, overlooking a fantastic view (hardly any golfers, but lots of wildlife). Expected to see a giraffe or elephant at any time! The host, Mike, is an excellent communicator (we didn’t need to meet) and all his instructions were very clear and easy to understand. Mike is also incredibly generous with lovely things to eat & drink in the apartment (wine, chocolates, coffee, cereals, croissants etc). The apartment was spotlessly clean and we had two bedrooms and two bathrooms- it felt wonderfully spacious. Oh, and Mike loves to collect things, so you will find lots of everything around the place! In summary, this is one of the very best places we have ever stayed (we stayed five nights) and we have been all over the world as international mountain guides for the past 17 years. Bravo, Mike! What a gem of a place!
