Our room was wonderful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect and presentation was elegant. Location was perfect to explore the shops in this charming town and close to the entrance for the Drachenfels train.

Based on 60y of travel in Germany, I wanted a last night in a village gasthaus. This is close to that ideal. But the kitchen closed at 2045, without notifying me, and so...no dessert. I was greatly disappointed, despite the good quality of the Italian cuisine. In their defense, on Saturday night, the German restaurant next door also closed at 2030. Very different from past times.

Good quality room dining. A couple of minutes from sightseeing or boat trips. The hotel has a great history with heads of state residing.
