The pentahotel Eisenach is just a short walk away from the Rennsteig hiking trail.... The hotel room was big, clean and well equipped! We came with a dog and in the room two bowls, a blanket and a treat waited for us! Huge and lovely surprise! The breakfast was superior and the stay was just wonderful! Huge recommendation, we will definitely come back to the hotel chain!

A 5-minute walk from Oberhof town centre, this traditional hotel offers a spacious wellness area, brightly decorated rooms, and regional cuisine. It stands in a large park in the Thuringian Forest. Property was excellent, on great location. Room well equiped, bed more than comfortable. Extra clean, the cleanest hotel which I was. Everything was perfect. Breakfast also was excellent, with huge variety of nice food. Hotel for grade 10.

This historic hotel is situated in the centre of Eisenach, 250 metres from the main train station. It has a Gault Millau-awarded restaurant and free WiFi internet access in all rooms. The hotel is located very close to the train station and it's just a convenient 5 minute walk from it. I received room 101 on the first floor by the stairs. It was very clean and stylish. The breakfast was exceptional. I recommend the hotel for staying.

From £152 per nightThe holiday home was spacious (we were two couples), clean and excellent value. The wood cabins blended in well to the surroundings. The Thuringer Wald is a beautiful, quite mountainous wooded area and not so spoilt by tourism. The long distance Rennsteig walk (162 miles and Germany's oldest long distance walk is only a couple of miles away. There are some lovely towns not far away - Bamberg, Weimar, Erfurt, Eisenach, Coburg, Schmalkalden etc. Something different!

I liked the view of the Wartburg and the forest. The staff were very friendly. He suggested things to visit around Eisenach and sells a map of the Rennsteig. The location is perfect for light hikers, halfway between Wartburg and Eisenach. Parking was very easy and free. Nice breakfast with a beautiful view and good service. Possibility of sending a postcard from the hotel. I have recommended this hotel to my friends who have stayed there since.

Family oriented with small apartment like rooms. Small kitchen which was nice. Great breakfast. The staff was wonderful. One of the managers there spoke Czech, which was nice for us since our German is passable but it made it much easier. They have a nice sauna as well and are centrally located in Oberhof. This was our second time staying there for training in the indoor Nordic center.

Extremely clean, comfortable and modern. Everything was automated, which is great in theory except there were no instructions on how to use the Wi-Fi in the room and no one was answering the phone. I imagine this can be quite a problem if there's an issue with a key or similar.
