I visited Santa Maria and stayed at 7 different, equivalent hotels during the week. Design Suites is the best hotel. The staff is helpful and very nice. I had tv problems and the manager organized help immediately and solved the problem. The cleaning is very good. Overall, the maintenance of the hotel is good. During the week there were several power outages on the island. In this hotel, the business has worked without problems. This indicates a good organization and committed staff. I will gladly come back to the "best hotel" on the island.

Perfect location right next to a beautiful beach and lot of restaurants nearby. Everything within walking distance. Very friendly staff at the hotel, clean rooms and very cozy and beautiful hotel. Breakfast is good as well. Nice swimming pools, plenty of activities in the hotel. Nothing could be better, an excellent hotel and highly recommended 👌

Situated 300 metres from Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows in Santa Maria, Porto Antigo Hotel BB welcomes guests with a restaurant and bar. Rooms have a TV. The sea view room, very close to the internal patio pool and a small bay (exactly as on a hotel advertisement) was super. The windows are very soundproof, so it was no issue to stay there also during the noisy weekend.
