We have found our stay at Bamboo Lead extremely pleasant, the staff was very nice and very helpful. Small and cozy western and Chinese breakfast, in a room with an amazing view on the mountains. The crepes were stunning! Also highly recommend the room service, we had cheese and cold cuts boards and the quality was very good (especially for China standards) and the price very good. Also very good selection of wine and their prices. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy, we have highly appreciated the use of recyclable and eco friendly tools, which is very rare in China. Very good taste also in the choice of furnitures. The hotel is a few minutes bike ride away from the center of Yangshuo, yet in a better, less touristy and more secluded area to enjoy some rest and peace. Highly recommended!

Rooms were very nicely decorated with attention to detail. Noodles with complementary breakfast were my favorite of the trip. Excellent communication from staff.

The hotel managers recently opened this very nice hotel, and in spite of our late arrival, everybody was extremely helpful, and ready to serve us whatever food they had. Michelle and the rest of the staff made the best of our short visit to Guilin. They helped us organize all of our trips in the region, during a very complicated time (around the Chinese New Year). The hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes away from Guiling Bei (north) Railway station, but it's easy to take a cheap taxi to get there. The room was very comfortable and has a lovely view of the karst mountains of Guilin. From Guilin you can visit Yangshuo and Xingping either by bus or train (the train is much faster and very cheap). I really recommend this hotel to travelers who want to spend some quiet quality time in a delightful little town, surrounded by very nice people.
