He educated us about the regional food specialties on the menu. We ate in the hotel both nights and the food was outstanding and the service stellar. Villa Post is in a terrific location for hiking in the region, and your stay includes a free pass for the public transport system, including gondolas. Breakfast included a wide variety of items in a gorgeous room.

It was cozy and clean, with great attention to both detail and quality. We also appreciated the welcome gift (a book), the libraries and book-filled dining room - and, of course, the Giacometti downstairs and photographs throughout the pension. The restaurant was also excellent in terms of the dishes and personable service.

The breads/croissants did not appear to be replenished midway through the fast hours. Dining room amazing. Food great. Staff personable. Loved eating outside and the service was good out there. Our room was beautiful and comfortable.
