Gasthof zum Schlüssel asub Ueberstorfis, 17 km kaugusel Berni raudteejaamast. Kohapeal on terrassiga majutusruumid, tasuta eraparkla ja restoran. Such a lovely hotel! Really enjoyed it and the staff is so nice. Room was big, with a small kitchen area and a decent sized bathroom. The location might not be ideal if you are not travelling by car but the bus stop is near by so it’s doable. There are also various activities for children which was very nice.

Aia ja linnavaatega Zimmerei asub Murtenis, 15 km kaugusel Forum Fribourgist. Berni ülikool on umbes 29 km, Berni parlamendihoone 30 km ja Münsteri katedraal 31 km kaugusel. Private room on the top floor, modern and clean, with a private bath and nice decor. Coffee machine and electric kettle provided in the room along with pods, teabags, and cream (always a plus when you're backpacking and cannot carry all you want). Blinds allowed for a great night sleep, so did the comfy bed and the air conditioner. There was even a TV which allowed us to catch an international track and field meet, and fall asleep on it. Breakfast was well organized; it did not include meat or eggs but had an assortment of bread, cheeses, and yogurts, along with orange juice. A nice yard with tables and chairs provided a green, intimate space to lounge, right inside of the walled city.

Le Mont-Vully - Hôtel Restaurant asub Haut-Vullys, 27 km kaugusel Forum Fribourgist. Kohapeal on terrassiga majutusruumid, tasuta eraparkla ja restoran. The owners are super nice, the view is incredible, food is great, beds are comfy, room is very clean, there were toys for our kids and we loved the private balcony with the view! It was really perfect. The only thing I can mention is that you check the restaurant prices beforehand, the dinner was very delicious but it basically costed as much as our room for one night with breakfast included.

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkimise, ühise puhkeruumi ja terrassiga Le Domaine (Swiss Lodge) asub Fribourgis, 4,8 km kaugusel Forum Fribourgist. The lodge is a hidden gem at the outskirts of Fribourg. It consists of very modern, quiet, clean rooms and facilities, including convention rooms. The rooms are reasonably priced and the fact that the bathrooms are not within the rooms, is not necessarily a withdrawal. To my opinion, it is perfectly okay, not to have TVs in the rooms , there is a good internet connection in the common areas, I feel that is more than enough for getting in touch with people. Pets are free of charge and a spacious pet poop area with poop bags is provided. The staff is young, friendly motivated and helpful. Surrounded is the lodge by well kept gardens, some bee hives, sheep, goats and very cute acapulcas. There is also a restaurant in the building that provides a buffet style breakfast every day, as well as lunches and dinners a la carte Monday through Friday. I investigated and found out that this lodge was a former Jesuit convent that was taken over and converted into a lodge by a society who’s aim is to reintegrate people with handicap, hence it is a win/win situation for all. Chapeau!

Hôtel du Cheval Blanc - City center offers comfortable accommodation with free WiFi in the center of the town. Staff very welcoming and helpful, family suite has everything needed to literally cook a full meal if needed, Location is very good with the view of the mountains

La Fleur de Lys asub 350-aastases hoones otse keskaegse Gruyère'i linna keskuses, 400 meetri kaugusel Gruyère'i lossist, Gigeri muuseumist ja Tiibeti muuseumist. Our stay at La Fleur de Lys was excellent ! Staff was very kind and friendly, the location was great and our view from the room was lovely, also the bed was really comfy. We will definitely be back :)
