Hôtel Marineau Shawinigan is located 15 km from Mauricie National Park and is situated at Exit 226 off of the Motorway 55. It was super clean, the staff was super nice and welcoming, the continental breakfast was good and the cafeteria super clean and roomy. It was a great value and we will go back.

The room is quite small, perfect for one night (no closet or drawer space available) The breakfast was great and they accommodated my husband who does not eat eggs by adding a second type of meat.

Auberge La Rocaille is 3 km from the Grand-Mère city centre and is 90 minutes’ drive from Montréal. It features spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi. older variety of Motel, which means more space…. wonderful :-)

Set 2.3 km from La Cite de l'Energie, Gîte Chez Baza is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Shawinigan, boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and parking on-site. The room was spacious, with a private bathroom right next doors. The host is a very interesting man, who offers many complementary add-ons such as a delicious breakfast and a drink. Ultimatelly it was a very good experience for its value, and I'd definitely go back there again in the future.

Set between the Saint-Maurice River and the surrounding hills, this B&B in Saint-Jean-des-Piles is just 5 km from La Mauricie National Park of Canada. A hot breakfast and Wi-Fi access are included. The owner was very friendly. Because of the end of the season the restaurant was already closed. But she prepared a delicious dinner for us. The breakfast was also delicious. We got a lot of information about Canada, the region and our upcoming trip from her. Very helpful!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Le Riverain - Condo neuf au bord de l'eau is set in Shawinigan. This apartment also has a pool with a view. Great location near the National Park. The owner did a great job communicating. The quality of everything in the property was what one would expect at their home but not for a rental. It exceeded our expectations.
