The room was cozy, the view was extremely nice and the proximity to the water made our stay very peaceful. Opening our outside door we could hear the waves really well and it created a great ambiance. The staff was really great and the rooms big and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The young woman at reception when we arrived was pleasant and efficient. The location was excellent, easy access to hiking and attractions. Riotel Matane is located directly on the beach and offer views of the Saint Lawrence and Matane rivers. The hotel offers an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool. Free WiFi is included. We were just passing through off the ferry and expected a Travelodge, having not used a Riotel before, but were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and the welcome, at a very good price. We were able to enjoy the sunset by a firepit on the beach with a good beer, and use the pool. In the morning we had a very good home cooked breakfast. The room itself was comfortable with good facilities. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.

We loved the style of the property, which perfectly fits the surroundings. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was also good. Overall, definitely a recommendation when staying in Bonaventure!
