This stay was awesome; the staff were so friendly and accommodating, and made us feel so welcome. We loved how close to the ocean the cabins were so we could walk along the shoreline, and it wasn’t too far of a drive to the Cape Breton trails which we hiked during our stay. The cabin was nice and warm for our winter stay, and the food at the dancing moose cafe was delicious!! We would definitely stay here again :)

The cottages had nice view and were very clean. I liked the little restaurant, too, the eggs I had for breakfast were great.

Situated on a hill and overlooking the lake, The Island Inn is conveniently located within 500 metres from shops, restaurants and Ingonish Beach. Very easy to find and the Inn keeper was extremely helpful and friendly!
