The year-round Tulloch Inn & Gifts is situated on Lake Ainslie, Nova Scotia, just a 15 minutes’ drive from a beach. Free Wi-Fi access is available. It is a little gem hidden away behind a kilometer long driveway. It feels like coming home. And the owners were the most friendly couple you could ever want.

The Water's Edge Inn & Gallery is located in Baddeck, overlooking the Bras d’Or Lakes. The uniquely decorated rooms have free Wi-Fi access and a cable TV. All the units enjoy a small seating area. We loved everything about the accommodation. The bed and linens were exceptionally good and our room had a refrigerator and good wifi. We had breakfast and most of our dinners at the Freight Shed, which was close by (100 m). Our hosts Anne and Jeff are lovely people. We will most certainly come back here on our next visit to Baddeck!

Overlooking the ocean, the ZzzzMoose boasts insulated wooden tents with a shaded deck and picnic table. A restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner is located next to this waterfront property. I absolutely loved our stay at Ton's place. Our cabin was clean, cozy and warm ( outside temperature was around 8°C), the private bathroom was located few steps away. You can access the beach directly from the property and maybe even spot some seals in the morning. Ton also runs the Dancing Moose Cafe, where you can have a delicious pannenkoek while being entertain by colorful birds and a very bossy squirrel. It's a lovely place and Ton is a friendly and helpful host. If you are on the road around the Cabot Trail make sure to stop by.

Located 7 km from the village of Baddeck, this farmhouse style B & B offers a daily hot breakfast. Free Wi-Fi is provided in all areas. The owners Jan and Glen are very nice and very helpful! We had a very big bathroom. The owners allowed me to watch NBA play-offs on TV in the living room which I appreciated very much. Jan's breakfast was really nice and tasty. Their dog KC is awesome!

Located on the Cabot Trail and 1 km, from Ingonish Beach, this Nova Scotia lodge offers free WiFi. Our 2 night stay here was exceptional! The owners are so friendly, warm and accommodating. They upgraded our cabin which is beyond nice- the rooms were the perfect size, super quiet, cozy and most importantly for me, everything in the space was clean/dusted and spider free! It was obvious that the owners want guests to have a relaxing and worry free time. The wifi connection was very fast- especially compared to the rest of our stays in Cape Breton.

Chanterelle Inn & cottages has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Baddeck. The inn offers both free WiFi and free private parking. At the inn, rooms are fitted with a wardrobe. The best BnB in all my rentals in NS ! A real family-run place, not one where people are only there to give you the key ! Charming hosts, the house is decorated with very good taste, the food - dinner and breakfast - is home-made, delicious and delicate, and the concern for ecological matters genuine. I just loved it !

Ingonish Loft is located in Ingonish. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.6 km from Broad Cove Beach, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. This little gem is the perfect home base for Cape Breton adventures year round! Excellent location right on the Cabot Trail, hugged by the national park and just down the road from Cape Smokey, I can't imagine a better spot! Communication from the hosts was incredible, from start to finish they were quick to respond and happy to help with anything at all, they make you feel like family all while completely respecting your space and privacy. The apartment has everything your could need, all amenities, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom and everything is wrapped in a warm, cozy and personal touch that makes you feel at home. So happy we found this place for a friend's weekend getaway to hit the ski hill. Can't wait to stay again sometime!
