I loved everything about this property. It has a good location with easy access to downtown and the highway, plus the design and overall vibe were fantastic. The central areas are all very welcoming and I wish we could have stayed longer.

Located 1 hours’ drive from the entrance to Grand Canyon National Park, this Flagstaff, Arizona hotel is 20 minutes’ drive to Walnut Canyon National Monument. Free Wi-Fi is offered in all rooms.

We stayed a second time in the Travelers Inn. We had a room with one Kingsize queen bed. The room looks freshly renovated, nice, very clean. The Bed was very comfortable for a goodnight sleep, with fresh and clean Bedsheets, Blankets and Pillows and enough space for two people. The room has a big TV with cable, a phone, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine with instant coffee. The bathroom was very clean too, with enough clean towels and plenty of handsoap/shower and hairshampoo. There were enough space for luggage and plugs for charching. The room has a heater and a air-conditioning. The owner was very nice and helpful, from the first stay, when we arrived really late in the evening and it was not a problem to stay both times one day longer. There is free parking space directly for the rooms available. We loved our stay and can highly recommend it.

The location was great because it was quiet and slept good. I love Flagstaff but I needed to be away from the train running near by. We have been to other Motel 6 locations with in 4 states and by far this was a very nice location. Sadly when I go to other cities I do opt for other motels/hotels. I will definitely be coming back here the next time.

We arrived just before midnight. I called the motel and she said they would stay up for us. They did. The young man who checked us in was very nice. Showed us to our room. Very clean, comfortable, well maintained annd updated; better than we expected. One of the nicest Route 66 motels we stayed in on this trip.

Castle Rock deserves the high rating. It is an Inn style motel and perhaps that doesn’t come through clearly when booking. They have great attention to detail on cleanliness and service. It is evident that they have a nice positive work culture in the little team that manages and runs the place.

I am a big fan of renovated and modernized mid-century motels, and the High Country Motor Lodge fits the bill. The large rooms were comfortable, there is plenty of parking, and the grounds are classy.

This is an old school motel, old fashioned and in spite of newly painted doors on the outside, inside a bit jaded. Old fashioned heavy wood furniture, but not bad quality, old fashioned bathroom with very noisy fan but shower was fine. Fridge wasn't working when we arrived but owner fixed it quite easily. Didn't use the microwave. Immaculately clean for a clearly old establishment. Walking distance to old town. Ample parking. Good coffee place adjacent.
