Our room was immaculate and clean, with easy check-in and accessible parking. Our host was friendly, with a wealth of knowledge about activities in the local area. He was also very accommodating when we decided to book extra nights. We appreciated the laundry facilities as well.

A classy clean-cut place which distinguishes itself by providing premium toiletries that promotes local eco-farm products, which we felt pampered by. The property is within a quiet location yet easily accessible to food and retail areas. We were given an upgraded room that was spacious and well designed (loved the kitchenette). On the day we left, the staff kindly showed us the best place to capture beautiful pictures of the Bay of Plenty.

Lovely room, very clean, good facilities. The laundry room was an added bonus, just $2 per load use the honest box in the laundry. It was warm and sunny outside so I was able to dry my washing outside on the line provided at the back of the building. A dryer was available for a further $2. I made use of the swimming pool, it was a little cold, but it was a sunny day and afterwards a dip in the hot tub was wonderful. Situated close to nearby shops and the city was about a 15 minute drive as long as you don’t get stuck in traffic, which built up at obvious times around 2:3pm when children are beginning to come home from school and again at 4:30ish pm when people were driving home from work. Lovely staff on hand to make your stay as comfortable as possible. When we arrived the key fob that is inserted to get the electricity supply was broken and the lady in charge, sorry I didn’t get her name, went out of her way and beyond her working day to sort a temporary fix out. She apologised profusely for the temporary fix, to us it was not an issue at all. She then booked the election to come out the following day to fit a new device. This lovely lady then came to check that everything had been done properly. What a star, thank you so much.
