The staff are lovely, the food is authentic local Vietnamese, and the place is spotless. The Palm is one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Sure, it’s a bit out of town, but that's a good thing, as Ha Giang City isn’t why you make the journey. It’s for the views and the escape! My wife and two children stayed five nights.

With city views, DONG VAN CLIFFSIDE HOUSE is set in Dồng Văn and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and barbecue. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge.... This was my favourite stay of the trip! After a long day of biking, I was happily surprised to stumble into this beautiful spacious room - replete with a tea maker and all the modcons. It also has a lovely balcony and serves great breakfasts..

Set in Dồng Văn, Maison de Hill Home offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a restaurant and a bar. Maison de Hill Home is a cozy place with really great hosts. We had dinner with them and it was excellent with the option of vegetarian food. They have three dogs, one even went for a walk with us to the neighboring village. So cute! The rooms are well equipped, the bed is comfortable. The common areas had Christmas decorations and a fireplace. We felt at home. Thank you once again :)

Offering mountain views, Riz d'Or Ermitage - Hoang Su Phi in Hoàng Su Phì offers accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. If you had asked me right after we arrived in the dark after 10 hours on a motorcycle what I thought of this place, I would tell you there’s no way it was worth it. But when the lovely staff labored on a home-cooked meal for us at 8pm and we got a good night’s rest on a soft bed under a princessy mosquito net and woke up to incredible views, my entire attitude changed. Having to exert considerable effort to get there made it that much more rewarding and worthwhile. Our bungalow was situated on top of a (steep) hill that allowed for privacy, the views were gorgeous, and the extra outside toilet was also a huge thrill.

Set in Làng Cac, Tom's Du già Homestay offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a terrace and a restaurant. The big bungalows are top notch and very new (we got an upgrade). Nice view on the mountain. The dinner in the evening was nice (we chose vegetarian) and plenty for two people (we couldn't finish it). Beds were very soft and comfortable

With city views, Homestay Chân Mây Chiêu Lầu Thi is set in Hoàng Su Phì and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, snack bar, garden and sun terrace. The homestay is an awesome place. The spot and nature are pristine. All the staff and the owners are very humble and supportive. The facilities are super clean with unique design. The food is organic and straight from the farms. So delicious and healthy veggies. The place surrounded by green spots and water in walking distance. There is a traditional bath with local herbs which you love. I highly recommend it. I'm sure it won't be the last time. Thanks for the warm chimney.

Complimentary WiFi is provided. friendly manager first i booked dorm, when i went there climate is too hot so, the manager advised me to take room as no AC in dorm. The room which i got has nice mountains view.
