Very good and well-furnished and tastefully decorated spacious room with wardrobe, very nice bathroom with shower and bathtub, private terrasse with chairs and table. I Love waking waking up in this serene environment with a huge variety of birds singing songs. Footsteps is very well managed and maintained, the staff is super friendly, well trained and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable. The environment is stunning and the lush gardens are extensive featuring a bird hide and a yogashala with yoga mats provided. The organic gardens provide fresh produce, and the kitchen serves both delicious local dishes and a high standard of international dishes, all presented lovingly with a big smile which nurtures a feeling of being completely taken care off. I have been coming to the Gambia for 13 years staying in various accommodations. While some are good when they first open, many fall apart quickly due to poor management. Not so at footsteps. Footsteps has provided me with consistently fabulous holidays over many years. A big thank you to the entire team.
