Love the market and make sure to hit it every time I get to Seattle. There is a plethora of fruits, veggies and baked goods to suit any palate there. Always eat too much when we visit! The views are spectacular and the market is lively with music and street performers of all kinds. A very "up" place to spend time. Anything you can think of that you could want, you can probably find there.

It is massive!
It is massive! Shop around before making purchases...local goods cost more because they take pride in their artisanal work. Mass produced souvenirs costs vary...check around before buying since some vendors are way too expensive for cheapo souvenirs.

Pike Place Chowder's line can get really long.
Pike Place Chowder's line can get really long. My best advice is to download their app to make your order & then pick it up to go. Otherwise, I definitely recommend coming to Pike Place hungry & ready to explore, as there are so many things to try & so many great options, including Beecher's Handmade Cheese.

Dress comfortably most of the place is indoors with no air.
Dress comfortably most of the place is indoors with no air. The smells of fresh fish can become a bit much in a very crowded hot areas. Be careful of pick pickets. Lines for restaurants can be 1.5 hours long. That's for lunch. They close at 6

IT was fabulous.
IT was fabulous. I found some unique paintings of China which were being painted in front of my eyes. I bought three matted paintings.
I also bought some unique earrings.
And we bought flowers for people we were going to visit; plus smoked salmon and a variety of cheeses.

Really big market.
Really big market. We went before 9:00 to see the fish throwing but no one was doing that while we were there. Lots of booths being set up. Lots of flowers, foods, gifts, jewelry, artwork, but SO expensive. We just enjoyed looking, but when it got really busy with tourists, we went to a little park at the end end of the market and sat in the sun, fed the birds, watched the people and activity on the water, and avoided the crowds.

The location was a little far from the main attraction (such as Pike Place Market, Space Needle), but it was quieter at night and still safe to walk around. Right in front of the ferry terminal, so easy access to a day trip to nearby islands. The hotel and room were sparklingly clean and modern. Nice view if you stay with an ocean view.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Paramount, which enabled us to walk to the show we were in town for. It's also within walking distance of the Pike Place Market, but the parking we paid for allowed in and out, so we drove. The staff was super nice. The room itself was nice enough but a little dated. The bed was comfortable, but too close to the desk. If someone was sitting at the desk, he had to move out of the way for the other person to get to the far side of the bed.
This is located very close to Pike Place Market so plenty of shopping and food in the area. The hotel had a nice restaurant and bar. Both were very good.

Hotel was very clean and it was safe and comfortable. Key card was needed to access the hotel after hours. Parking garage they partner with was close by. There is a closer garage directly across the street, but we were happy with the one the hotel suggested on 2nd & Union.
Lovely historic hotel, very well maintained. Fantastic location for visiting Seattle - next to monorail (goes to Space needle), Pike Place Market, and link subway system. staff was very helpful with suggestions for the area.
Well located hotel (10min walk to Space Needle and 2 miles to Pike Place Market)
Secure garage parking with keycard access ($48 a day)
We did not have breakfast but seemed to have ample choice. Coffee available throughout day/night.
The location of the hotel was pretty close to pike place market, about a 10 minute walk. Across the street there is a cvs, so that was convenient. We stayed here while we went to a concert at lumen field. The walk is about 20-30 min depending on quickly you walk. We took an uber everywhere.
The location was great. We were able to walk from the hotel down to various tourist locations (e.g., Pike Place Market) in 10-15 minutes. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and tried to help us get a meeting room arranged a the hotel
The hotel has an interesting concept of what looks to have been a converted former office building where each office was converted into a private room. It was a short walk to Pike Place Market and there's a convenience store across the street open late. The shower water pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water for those damp chilly evenings.
