Staff are friendly and organized an airport taxi for me. You can visit the nearby Kasbah Museum and Ibn Battuta Museum nearby, or enjoy the views and a walk on the city walls near Bab Al Bahr (Sea Gate). I have stayed at Dar El Hayat before, and I will hopefully do so again.JacobNetherlands

The owner was friendly and welcoming, from the top of the hostel you can have a wonderful view of the old & new city. When the weather is clear, one can see the Spanish Coast.

The location is perfect if you want to savour the atmosphere of the souk and the kasbah museum was only a 20 min walk away. The typical Moroccan dinner including the music and belly dancing in the hotel was excellent.

It’s in the heart of the medina, right next to the kasbah museum and to the kasbah entrance which is a perfect access by car or taxi with very little walking involved! Lorraine is a very gracious host, I loved hearing about her story. Mohammed has great recommendations and was very nice and kind. Would love to come back! Pro tip: use careem car service (it’s like uber) for a more comfortable but also cheaper transportation! This applies to anywhere in Morocco ;)FFatimaMexico
