This is a beautiful old inn, built in 1719. The bedroom was newly refurbished and had everything needed. The bed was very comfortable. The fresh milk available in the fidge in the corridor was very welcome. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. The staff were helpful and friendly. What else can I say?

The caravan was very spacious and clean and we found everything we needed there. The location is beautiful, not in the heart of the Lake District but still surrounded by beautiful things to see and fun things to do.

Massively positive place. The owners are ridiculously helpful at all times. There is a restaurant downstairs which is lovely - they do massive pizzas - see my photo. Rooms are functional and very good value for money. Very comfy beds, electric shower and tea and coffee provided in the room. Parking is available 4 min walk away, quite literally not really even that. It is £5 for 10 hours so pretty much £5 a day you can stop outside and upload the car with ease. Parking is in bluebell car park. Breakfast is available - great quality. We had offers of cereal, fruit, yoghurt and then cooked breakfast as well amazing value. It is served 0800-0900. Coffee was also greattttt quality - and I like my coffee!

I loved the experience and people who run it are lovely. I had a single room which was a very good size with stunning view. The bed was extra comfy. I would live there if I could. Couldn't recommend it more.

Breakfast was delicious! The dinner was great and so was the staff! Accomodations were great. The hostess helped us with some questions and spared time out of her busy day which we really appreciated. Thumbs up!
