The Sandpiper offers a modern beach vibe designed to pamper adults with everything you need for comfort and convenience. Perfect for a romantic retreat, change of scenery from work, or just a much-needed getaway, this 1-bedroom ocean view condo sleeps 1 to 4 people comfortably. With three pools only steps away and over 2.5 miles of private beach just waiting for you, why wait to book? Lounge on the screened-in porch to take in the sunrise, read a book, and feel the warm ocean breeze. Cook your favorite summer meals and mix up a refreshing cocktail in the fully-equipped, gourmet-style kitchen. Retreat to the master bedroom with en suite after a full day of basking in the sun. Connect to free Wifi to watch movies, binge your favorite shows, listen to tunes on Alexa or sit down for a good old-fashioned game of Hilton Headopoly! There is an extra powder room to freshen up between activities. This elevator building allows easy access to bring up suitcases and groceries and the third floor ocean view from the Sandpiper is the best in the building!
The Sandpiper is my happy place. After moving to Bluffton, SC in 2018 to be closer to my parents, I decided to buy a place to work from occasionally and spend time with family and friends when visiting. It’s been a fun time renovating the condo with things that I enjoy and hopefully will make your stay memorable. I welcome travelers from all over to book a stay at the Sandpiper, even if only for a few nights. May all those who enter as guests, leave as friends. I hope you find a small slice of happiness during your visit.
If you love nature, you will love Harbor Island! Harbor Island is a two and a half square mile residential community about 10 miles southeast of Beaufort, SC. This private, gated, beachfront community, located in South Carolina Lowcountry, is a gateway to the Beaufort Barrier Islands Bird Area where you may find over 200 species of birds. Nature lovers can visit five fresh water lagoons on the property that provide nesting areas for thousands of wading birds. From April to June, you can see thousands of Horseshoe crabs come ashore to lay eggs at high tide under a full moon. From May to September our beach is a nesting area for the endangered Loggerhead turtles. As far as amenities, there is no shortage of things to do. Lounge at one of three pools, check out the Turtle's Nest for some beach souvenirs or essentials, watch the sunrise and walk along 2.5 miles of pristine beach, play a pickup game of basketball, hit a round of pickleball or tennis, practice your golf swing on the putting green, tap the fitness center for some reps, or take in the sunset from any of the fishing or crabbing areas around the property. But that is not all! Use the free pass to visit Hunting Island State Park just 5 minutes away, dine at the waterfront on Bay Street in Beaufort, try out Fish Camp for seafood in Port Royal, learn more about local Gullah heritage, or take a day trip to Hilton Head, Savannah, or Charleston all within an hour drive. Stock up to cook at the condo or venture out to tickle your tastebuds. There is no shortage of great options around the area from casual to fine dining.
