A small culinary surprise awaits our guests as a welcome. Staudach-Egerndach at the foot of the Hochgern is the gateway to the beautiful Achental valley. For over 1,000 years, this region has not only been farmed by mountain farmers, but also offers numerous tourist attractions. The interplay of small lakes, remote moors, gentle valley meadows, dense mixed mountain forest, small alpine pastures and mountain peaks is unique. On the mysterious moor round path, young and old learn interesting facts about the local flora and fauna. Get to know the original gem between Lake Chiemsee and the mountains from its most beautiful side on a relaxed hike along the Tiroler Ache across flowering meadows and through refreshingly cool forests.
