Out of the Blue is a perfect combination the social vibe of a hostel and the aesthetics of a boutique hotel. As we really enjoyed our previous stay here, we decided to book this again for out last night in the Azores. During our stay, we have been to various hostels in Ponta Delgada and this one is by far our favourite! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is great (they even provide an early bird breakfast for early checkouts), the kitchen has all facilities you could wish for, the private rooms have a cool design (some of them with original elements of lava stone) and are quiet, there is a lovely garden with hammocks and a small pool, there is an adorable cat, and don’t forget to me tion the great restaurant next door Taberna na Boavista which is open to guests until 0.00 (recommended for great local tapas food). We look forward to visiting this excellent accomodation in the future!

Azores Inn - Family Suites is set in Ponta Delgada, within 24 km of Sete Cidades Lagoon and 25 km of Lagoa Verde. The apartment is located in the very center, close to everything (on foot). It is located in a beautifully renovated tenement house. It is very clean and tidy, the bed is comfortable and the WIFI is excellent. We didn't meet the hosts, but they contacted us asking about our needs. The door opens with codes. On the ground floor there is a well-equipped communal kitchen where you can make a good coffee whenever you want.

Situated in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao, PDL Green House features air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace. The room was great! Very spacious, clean and well decorated. Location couldn’t have been better for us! we enjoyed our 4 night stay.

Situated in Ponta Delgada and with Pico do Carvao reachable within 12 km, Magma Hostel features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. The location in Old Town was excellent! I loved having a private room ensuite with the shared kitchen and living spaces. The balcony was a nice space to have a glass of wine and relax. The entire hostel was spotless and well appointed. The shower was hot with good pressure. Free street parking or nearby lot parking was available. The host was friendly and responded to all inquiries quickly, even walked my husband to the nearest market for sundries on our first day.

Located in Ponta Delgada, Ilha Hostel & Suites features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Patricia the host was so warm and welcoming. We loved her the moment we entered the property. She gave us all the required information before hand to ensure a smooth arrival and check in. She also gave us great recommendations of the island. The room and the property overall was beyond expectations. Everything was spic and span. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the property was equipped with all the necessary facilities. The breakfast was also good. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to anyone visiting the island as it's close to the airport and the city center. Located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao, THE HOLY COW - Hostel & Suites provides air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. Everything, starting cleanness, breakfast and location were perfect. The hostel host was very helpful and friendly. Wonderful experience and definitely would come here again.

13 km from Pico do Carvao, Pé Direito is located in Ponta Delgada and provides air-conditioned rooms. Absolutely fabulous place - the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at and the staff was wonderful.

Nag-aalok ang The Nook Hostel ng accommodation sa Ponta Delgada. Makaka-access ang mga guest sa common facilities tulad ng shared lounge na may flat-screen TV. The place feels very much alive, yet peaceful at the same time! And so it feels very homy. The temperature in the rooms is perfect and all facilities are clean throughout the hostel. It is well located and easily accessible. A real find for your money! I will stay here many times more!
