Ideally situated in the centre of Mérida, Hostal Barrio Vivo features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden. This was one of my favorite hostel in my 8 months travels and for sure yet in Mexico. The place is super cosy, small scaled, lots of storage and lockers with keys. There are events everyday. I met some really nice people there and it just felt like home for a few days. The breakfast is ok, fully vegetarian. The volunteers mix up with the guests and create a good vibe. Beds are super comfy.

Such a warm and friendly family! Jonathon helps you out with any questions. The morning breakfast is great! Comfy beds and a lovely garden. Close to the center. Had a great time here.

Hostel Candelaria is centrally located in Valladolid City, 5 minutes’ walk from the main square and 500 metres distance from the 180 Cancún-Valladolid Motorway. It features a terrace and free parking.... A little Oasis set in the heart of Valladolid. It's very central too, close to the ADO bus stop. The staff who work here are very welcoming and friendly. The hostel is exceptionally clean and the breakfasts are super good with menus changing every day. It's prepared for each individual. I loved my stay so much that I extended it.

I really liked the location, close to every needed supply or transportation. I liked the people as much the two owners as the different others backpackers. I liked their advice about Cenote, Chichen Itza and Ek balam. I liked that the cooking tools were new. It was so far my best hostel experience.

Hostel Oryx Valladolid in Valladolid provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. Great hostel in the center of the city. Position is great, it is clean and the curtains on each bed give some privacy in the dorm. At night there was Aircon so it was not hot. Wifi worked well and breakfast is simple and just what you need with coffee, fruit, bread, hummus and jam Fridge and mexico guide books in the common area and hot shower
