Set in Nagasaki and within 1.3 km of Nagasaki Station, Almas Guest House(アルマス） features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Takako-san was so friendly. The rooms are huge, super comfy and clean. Hair drier in one shower and in the girls’ room as well. Location was near two or three tram stations—Dejima, Ohato, or Chinatown.

Nagasaki Kagamiya offers dorm beds and private Japanese rooms, a 5-minute walk from Hotarujaya Tram Station. It features a garden and a cosy shared lounge with free WiFi and a free-use internet pc. The owners are extremely gentle people, had a great time staying here. The futon is really comfy and warm, the traditional bath is great, and the location is wonderful (near the Hotarujaya tram terminal). I fully recommend it.

Located in Goto, 1.2 km from Ohama Beach, ako house provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Stayed in Goto-I house. It was compact, perfect for our family with small kids. Very clean, nice garden. And Nicholas was a perfect host.

Located in Nagasaki, within 1 km of Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and 1.6 km of Peace Park, Mezame Hostel provides accommodation with a bar. Very clean and organized, showers, sinks, common area, and beds were exceptionally clean. Felt very safe and welcoming. Was very quiet and easy to navigate, temperature in the rooms was perfectly on the cool side (but with plenty of blankets provided). Iron, ice water, toaster, and kitchenette in the common room. Beds felt very private for what they were. Everything you need in a hostel and much nicer than I expected for the price.

Situated in Tsushima, 2.1 km from Miuda Beach, Midori Guesthouse&Hostel features views of the mountain. Host was very considerate, and explained things to me concisely and thoroughly when I arrived so I didn't have to ask any questions. Room was very clean, quiet, small towels were provided and there was also underfloor heating which you can adjust yourself. I learned a little bit about the history of Tsushima and was recommended some of the places worth going to visit, before renting an electrical-assist bike for ¥1500 until 3pm. Good location with access to some nice shops nearby.

Located within 4.2 km of Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and 4.8 km of Peace Park, Casa Blanca Guesthouse provides rooms in Nagasaki. The location is incredible, right in Chinatown. There are two tram stops withini 5 minutes of walking, tons of delicious restaurants and fun bars. During the lantern festival, the street was decorated with lanterns and beautiful. The beds were super comfy and the shared bathroom area was always spotless. I will say some of the beds are a bit creaky, but that happens sometimes.

Located in the heart of Nagasaki, Hostel Casa Noda features free Wi-Fi available in all areas. The hostel has a rooftop terrace. Guests can use the washing machine placed at the rooftop. Comfortable room, clean, great view of the harbour (private room for 2 people on floor 5), nice communal area, cheap washing machine and dryer facilities.

Offering views of the river, Exit8 Like hostel nedoko is located in Nagasaki, 400 metres from Peace Park. This air-conditioned hostel features free WiFi. For your comfort, you will find slippers. It‘s like staying at someone’s home, really. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean, and the owner is very welcoming. Everyone got a little amuse bouche, so to speak, when paying in cash. And it was so delicious. I read a lot about the rules. At first I thought they seemed strict, but really it‘s just basic manners. Just don‘t be rude, I got my deposit back, no problem.
