Situated in Takamatsu and with Kitahamaebisu Shrine reachable within 1.9 km, コトリ コワーキング&ホステル高松 features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Stayed here for around 2 weeks in May and I cannot recommend this place enough. We stayed first in a private, then in the dorms. Both were great. Dorms had curtains and bed lights which was very private. It's not a big hostel so it wasn't really too busy but we still got to meet a handful of travellers who were usually staying there for a couple of days at a time. The kitchen was really well equipped with lots of seating area, like tables and sofas. Drying space on roof with a nice view of surrounding buildings. The staff were friendly and super helpful even though we couldn't speak Japanese. Overall, a very stylist hostel

Located in Sanuki, 13 km from Yakuri-ji Temple, 宿 inn TEK-TEK provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking and a shared lounge. The host is so friendly and has made many considerations for guests such as laundry facilities, towel rentals, first aid kit rentals, sewing kit rentals and more. You can rent bikes, buy toiletries, and buy snacks and beers from the kitchen. Excellent place for pilgrims doing the Shikoku 88 Temples and you can tell the host has made many considerations with pilgrims in mind. Even if you are not a pilgrim it is an excellent place as it is so close to beautiful hikes and nature. Less than 5 minutes walk from a convenience store, and a well equipped kitchen if you'd like to cook. The dorm beds are comfortable and private. I loved my stay here and would stay again.

Set in Mitoyo, 43 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, BED N CHILL Shippoya 七宝屋 offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. It is one of the best spots I stayed on Shikoku island. The host and his family created a little paradise. Very nice garden. New facilities with large bed in dormitory with much privacy. And the bar is just a jewel. Very tasteful with a large selection of beers. A super bonus is that the host speaks very good English since he stays a couple of years in Canada. Just go there and experience yourself. You can thank me later

Set in Shodoshima, 16 km from Cycad at Seiganji Temple, Sen Guesthouse offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. It is a wonderful guesthouse managed by a couple who owns the house and who take care of their guests. They know very well the island and can make great recommendations. The kitchen is great to use with everything that you need, including roasted ground coffee by the owner. You easily feel at home. And moreover the view on the sea is amazing and you have access to a beach.

Situated within 32 km of Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 33 km of Takamatsu Heike Monogatari Historical Museum, Kotori Coworking & Hostel Kotohira features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom... We loved this hostel!! Great location, nice rooms, helpful stuff :-)

Set in Zentsuji, 37 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, 深山邸miyama-tei offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. We had a wonderful time spending with our friends here. Very good location, clear introduction before we check in, very fine kitchen equipment so we can cook us a simple meal! Love the washing machine and the shower was great, too! A neat and big house, full of traditional Japan culture, a beautiful and historic building. So worth it.

Set in Kotohira, within 40 km of Liminal Air-core Takamatsu and 40 km of Sunport Fountain, Guesthouse Kotohira offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property as well... First things first: this is a welcoming place. I enjoyed my short time at Kotohira a lot and a huge reason for that was the friendly and relaxed atmosphere at the guesthouse. The host (heart and soul of this traditional house in central location) is a bubbly and passionate traveller himself that has seen so many places in Japan and around the world. He is really interested in your own experiences while you travel in the region and he can give you a lot of recommendations. Even though this guest house is in the north of Shikoku, he provided me with travel and commuting advices for Hokkaido. And: I loved the traditional house in central but quiet location. My roomy female dormitory (for 2 people) was lovely decorated. It felt a bit like in a treasure museum. The bath facilities are modern and the kitchen is well equipped (free coffee). So, if you wanna stay in a friendly place where you can recharge travel energy and get freshly inspired, pick this guest house.

The staff were so friendly and nice, we made loads of friends here due to the relaxed atmosphere. The free breakfast was delicious and we had dinner there twice too and it was so tasty. Would highly recommend
