I have spent years traveling in Colombia and almost all hotels are good, many are very good and a lot are great but this was EXCEPTIONAL. Thank you for a great stay.

Amazing communal areas (great terrace). Very friendly and helpful staff! At least three different showers and toilets, so no queue.

Very simple hotel - was a great value at less than 1/2 the price of anything else listed on Booking.com in Villavieja. Don't expect luxury, some small details weren't the best in the world (bed was hard), but for a traveler looking to experience the desert on a budget it's just fine. Very principally located to the main plaza - where the bus drops you off from Neiva, where there are restaurants and where you can find transportation to the desert. We were happy with our decision to stay in town instead of the desert.
