Set in Tuk Tuk, Leokap Homestay has free WiFi throughout and a garden to relax. Rooms are fitted views and a private bathroom with a shower. Guests can enjoy daily breakfast. This Homestay is about 5 minutes walk from the ferry port. I had a pretty heavy suitcase with me and there was no way I could carry it on the uneven road and steep uphill. The owner, Marin, came with her scooter and picked up the suitcase right away. Upon the check-out was the same. Marin and Johanna were always available and very friendly. The view from our room was facing the lake and the beautifully maintained garden.

We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

I loved this place! We had the room in front of the lake and it was just perfect :) The garden is so beautiful, the water in front is so peaceful and the family is so nice!

Vandu's View Guest house & Restaurant terletak di Tuk Tuk dan mempunyai taman. Terdapat teres dan tetamu boleh menggunakan WiFi percuma dan tempat parking peribadi percuma. The view from my hotel room is stunning, i woke up in the morning and go straight to the balcony to enjoy my morning view. The staff is good also, help if we need something. The shower room is new and work very well. The hot water also working. There is no aircon but they provide fan. Nothing much to say but I would like to recommend those who want to stay here for vacation. Very strategic and near to the bar and restaurant.

Very friendly staff, helped us with ongoing transport when we were leaving. Hands down the best shower we’ve had in 9 months of travelling Asia!! Great location and good scooter rental. Highly recommend
