Just 3 km from Lake Tegernsee, this family-run, Alpine-style hotel in Gmund offers free spa facilities, a traditional Bavarian restaurant with beer garden, and free WiFi. All areas at Hotel Gasthof Eder GmbH are non-smoking. The owners added a unique touch to their Hotel with cosy decor, amazing homemade bread (delicious), fresh cheese, great fresh breakfast and dinner. The rooms were very cosy and clean. The bed was very comfy and cozy. Quite area. The location is not on the Tegernsee lake but very close by to drive or even hike (around 1h30min). We enjoyed our stay very much and will stay again for a longer time.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The owners are great hosts, the rooms and shared spaces are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is superb. It's the best price/performance option I've found in Bad Wiessee and it's 5 minutes walking distance to the Tegernsee lake and boat to Tegernsee town center. ⛴️
