This is the best hostel we've stayed in during all of our Japan trip. Staff/hosts are exceptional, absolutely welcoming people. They speak English pretty well (which is rare in Japan). The bar is super nice and a great place to meet travellers or chat with the staff. The rooms are very comfortable. The owner's recommendations of where to go and what to do are SUPERB, this is worth gold. We absolutely loved it here. Thank you Mako & crew for having us! :-)

The place was surrounded by nature. It was very peaceful and beautiful. The room was very cute and traditional and the futons very comfortable. The host was very nice.

The place was very clean, very comfortable, with good localisation. The capsule room was spacious. I was pleasantly surprised by it all. Spent there lovely 4 days. Would totally recommend it for a short stay, but I would totally stay there for longer trips as well!

The guesthouse was very clean and there were plenty of showers. The staff were welcoming and the lounge was very cozy.

excellent, good beds, good internet, beds with curtains, feels very private, bit space to keep your things, comfy sofa, amazing staff, they even gave me an umbrella cuz it was raining, they really gave it to me, not borrowed
