Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

Situated in Kalpitiya, 2.7 km from Kudawa Beach, araliya villa provides accommodation with a fitness room and an open-air bath. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Came for 2 nights, stayed for 8. The place was very relaxed and had a nice peaceful energy. The food was excellent and I ate there every day. Harshan was super helpful, offering to pick up things from the shops, taking me into town etc. He even, arranged a doctor for me when I was sick and came with me to make sure I was ok. He's a really nice guy and we had many interesting talks. The other people staying there were really nice and we all ate together and had drinks in the evening. It was a really nice vibe.

Get up close with wildlife and nature at Leopard Trails Wilpattu, a campsite with tents offering a private bathroom. Breakfast is included for guests during their stay and airport shuttle services can be arranged at a surcharge. Leopard Trails was one of the highlight stays of our Sri Lankan vacation. Its glamping with a capital G, and very good value for money. Just a few km from the Wilpattu park entrance, we went on 2 safaris and of course saw Leopard, Sloth bear, elephant and a bunch of other species. But TBH it was the stay in this luxury camp, with its spacious safari style tent rooms, its wonderful staff and food that was amongst the best we had in Sri Lanka. I 100% recommend staying here.

For the meals only option, safaris could be arranged with the camp directly, at an additional cost to be paid directly to the property. Everything. From the Safari to the night walk, everything was fabulous and a perfect way to end our Sri Lanka adventure before heading back to Negombo. Dinner under the stars was a very special experience and we also got a tent upgrade which we really appreciated :) Our naturalist was very knowledgeable and we learnt so much during the night walk.

With lake views, Nirvaan Safari Lodge is situated in Wilpattu and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. Wildlife experience! Safari was fantastic! Food was good and service is excellent.

Situated in Achchamulai, Wilpattu Green Cabin features accommodation with seating area. The property has lake and river views. There is a picnic area and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Location in the peace and quiet next to the river. Host was super friendly and gave as a small free wildlife tour around the village. The food was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka having been there for 4 weeks. Arranged a safari at Wilpattu for us.

- Pre-dinner drinks around the campfire and wine (by the glass) during dinner. We spent one night at the camp for a safari and the place was really nice. The food was excellent and the athmosphere around the fire at night was unforgetable. Staff is lovely.
