Providing free toiletries, this tent includes a shared bathroom with a hairdryer and slippers. We arrived in the pouring room and enjoyed the warm welcome and beers in the main building. The hot pot was delicious and we had a very comfortable stay in the tents. The breakfast with view on the valley and grinding your own coffee was superbe! The owners are very friendly + the camping is ON the Nakasendo trail.

Everything is freshly renovated and brand new. Drinks for free and private Onsen is amazing, so beautiful with the outside pool and view to the forest. Room was big and had everything. The owner acconpanied us to a local Izakaya close by and we had an amazing dinner in tyoical japanese atmosphere cloe to hotel. Village is super cozy.

Hakuba Mominoki Hotel is located between snow peaks in Hakuba Valley, a 5-minute drive from Hakuba Station. The 4-star hotel offers an outdoor natural hot-spring bath, free Wi-Fi and 3 restaurants. Charming decor and architecture. The fire in main lobby was a cosy spot for a drink or playing cards. Our room had western style beds as well as japanese style tatami room and a balcony. The onsen was fantastic and sparkling clean. Staff were wonderful and booked us dinner reservations (limited japanese) as well as arranging free shuttles to and from the restaurants. Above and beyond. Also excellent location near to a ski lift.

Great spot to stay for a ryokan experience but also easy to stay with my parents who aren't used to a more traditional Japanese style housing
