Offering a garden and mountain view, Valhalla Yurts Odin is situated in Selfoss, 41 km from Thingvellir National Park and 42 km from Geysir. What was there not to like? The hosts were fantastic, amazing fireplace, comfortable bed, fun games, delicious breakfast, peaceful surroundings.

Situated just 39 km from Ljosifoss, Camp Boutique features accommodation in Gaulverjabær with access to a private beach area, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Fantastic host! Facilities and comfort was super. The old goathouse was a plecent surprice. Loved every minute!

We stayed in dome 4 which is the biggest of the five. It features a lounge area and a large dining table. The dome is beautifully furnished with a smart cube in the middle that holds the bathroom and has a kitchenette on one of its outside walls as well as a high bed on top of it. The master bed has a breathtaking view over lake Sog. Staying in the dome felt luxurious and cozy at the same time. We watched the midnight sun from our bed and listened to the mating calls of the common snipe. We absolutely loved it.
