It was smaller than we expected but in a good way. It didn't feel like just another big hotel churning through guests. The staff were really friendly, engaging and interesting to chat with, the homemade food was wonderful - plentiful and seasonal. It was a perfect escape from busy life for us - chilled out with lovely surroundings.

We booked the very well furnished Mökki on this paradisiacal place. If needed, you can bring your foodstuffs from the small market 2km before the ferry in Kirjais. The isolated island is served by the small FinFerry boat "Chery" on the Nauvo Transverse Route and by the bigger "Falkö" on the Nauvo Southern route. It is quite important to call before 4pm on the previous day! If the schedule doesn't fit, taxi boat can be arranged by the helpful hosts.
