This hostel was my favourite in all Egypt. Beautiful location right on the nile with beautiful views. Ghandi is amazing he is super knowledgeable and helpful. Really the most genuine man we met in Egypt. Stayed 2 days longer because aswan and this place was amazing. Met amazing people. Breakfast was awesome. We stayed in a tent on the roof which was super ocol- amazing views for sunset. He helped order cheap food every night and had awesome recommendations for things to do. Helped with tours and was up at 4am to make sure everyone got off OK to Abu simbel. His son was super cute and had a good time watching him watch the world cup! Really a cool spot to come. Nubian village is cool. It is an easy walk or cheap minivan to down town but we were so glad we stayed in this chill spot away from it all. The free tea was also amazing and heaps of toilets which always spotless

Everything was great, super nice staff, delicious breakfasts, localization far from the noise of the city but close to ferry so it's easy to go to the city center.

A simple but really nice place to stay in Assuan! Our hosts David and his nice wife were very friendly and helpful in organizing our travel to another destinations. They have also organized two very interesting sightseeing tours for us in Assuan and Abu Simbel. We had a really good time! Thank you guys! Hostel o prostym wyposażeniu. ale czysty. Właściciele- David i jego żona to przemili i bardzo pomocni ludzie. Z przyjemnością skorzystaliśmy z dwóch świetnie zorganizowanych przez nich wycieczek po Asuanie i do Abu Simbel. David zorganizował nam rownież przejazd do naszego kolejnego celu podróży z dwoma dodatkowymi atrakcjami turystycznymi po drodze. Było wspaniałe- wielkie dzięki! Eine einfache aber saubere Unterkunft in Assuan mit wirklich netten Gastgebern. David und seine Frau waren jede Zeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Sie haben zwei tolle Sightseeingtouren für uns in Assuan und nach Abu Simbel organisiert und eine Überfahrt zu unserem nächsten Zielort mit zwei Zwischenstopps. Wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben. Vielen Dank, gerne wieder!

This is a real gem of a hostel - the position outweighs everything else. Superb location and so lovely to be somewhere so beautiful and peaceful and to travel everywhere very cheaply by boat. The manager Rehab speaks fantastic English and is lovely and incredibly helpful. The other Nubian staff are also lovely. Don’t be put off by the basic shower - it’s hot with a great jet. Yousef the boat driver/helm is a cutie. Breakfast was good but no tea or coffee offered. Evening meal was simple and could be improved but it didn’t matter due to the location - the restaurant on the neighbouring island opposite the temple was great but try to avoid 8-9pm as that’s when the temple light show is on if you want a peaceful meal. Abu Simbel day trip was worth the drive. Visit Elephantine Island from Aswan and wander to the Green of the other side through the streets of the village - real rural Nubian life and well worth it. Also take a Felucca trip (about £5 or 200el per hour). Worth seeing the soul/market for the spice shops, real life and felafel making. Just a gem of a tranquil place to stay!

I like and enjoy here too much, The people there are nicely and purely. The environment there is really less crowd, you can enjoy the sunshine and spend whole daytime at the wonderful place
