Best value hostel in Colombia! Big food and drink portions, fun staff and it’s a 1min walk to the beach. The owner is super chill and will help you out with anything. I came to stay here for 2 nights and kept extending my stay because I didn’t want to leave.

- Good Budget Room: The room is basic but clean and nicely decorated with natural objects like a chair made from a stump and plants in the bathroom. Very cool with the fan. - Friendly Host: Host Senair is super nice and went out of her way to introduce things about the area to me, including messaging me before my arrival to warn me of construction blocking one street. She is also very eco-friendly with compost and recycling so your conscience is clean. - Food: Delicious well-balanced breakfast with the best arepa I have had in Colombia. Not as dry or bland as many I’ve had during my trip! - Cat: Cute playful cat, what else do you want?

La aldea is a vibe. It's different than anything I met in other hostels. It's more like a community. That's why I came back and will probably :) The people there will make you feel at home on the other side of the world or even better ;) Common cooking, making music, art, talks filled my heart with everything what's good. The hosts were super welcoming and made us feel like being home. The breakfast was just amazing and the rooms had a lot of space. Besides there were big and effective mosquito nets which still provided good air. The house was very near to the beach and had so much nature, we enjoyed our stay so much!!
