Located 7 km from Siracusa, Agriturismo Papyrus features an outdoor pool and a private museum. Rooms offer a satellite flat-screen TV and free WiFi is available in public areas. Agriturismo Papyrus is a fascinating assemblage of buildings. The collection of pottery, sculpture, and the like is breathtaking. Our room was actually a suite with many modern features. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We enjoyed seeing the animals. The staff was attentive.

The large salt water pool is surrounded by beautiful gardens with centenary cacti, olive and carob trees, and bougainvillea. At night, foxes come casually to inspect the location. Cetty, the owner, is beautiful inside and out, generous and welcoming. The breakfast and meals are concocted with her own produce. She even let our daughter pick fresh tomatoes from her garden. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. An oasis of happiness!

There is also restaurant where they serve very delicious food. All staff is so nice and helpful. We really enjoyed staying there. Sara is excellent host, manger and owner.
