The Alma Hotel exceeded our expectations in all regards. The hotel, our room, the staff and location were all superlative. Hidalgo and Nelson booked us with good restaurants, were so helpful with travel plans, and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast of omelets, baked goods, fruit and coffee was generous and delicious. The Cuidad Vieja was a lovely place to stay, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and it was quiet and safe.

Sleek, modern décor and comfortable rooms can be enjoyed at Puerto Mercado Hotel, 100 metres from Mercado del Puerto Cultural Centre. WiFi is free. We came back to this hotel with pleasure!

Located in Montevideo´s historic neighbourhood of Ciudad Vieja, NH Montevideo Columbia offers tasteful rooms with free WiFi access. The room from this Hotel is amazing, definitely a really good one to consider if traveling alone or with your partner. I recommend this stay for couples, waking up in those rooms give you a good sense of comfort. Even though I recommend it for couples, I must say it is not the most romantic place, since it's accommodations are also used for business.

Great location, two blocks from the waterfront and central to the old city. Several nice design touches in the room. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and quite helpful staff. My son got bit by a dog in Buenos Aires and needed to get his third rabies vaccine in Montevideo. The staff made phone calls for us and found out the hospital we needed to visit to get his vaccine and the hours they were open for this. She was a real life-saver in a complicated situation for us. Would gladly stay here again.

We loved it. Great location and lovely staff. It is self contained and the apartments are not serviced, but you can get fresh towels if needed. It has a little kitchen also. Such great value, so clean and nice and lots of space and close to everything. We loved it!

The design of the interior is stylish and the feel pleasant, the attitude very friendly. I had asked for a quiet room and indeed I received a very quiet room, well protected from all noise. The location is excellent for walking the pedestrian street.
