The Alma Hotel exceeded our expectations in all regards. The hotel, our room, the staff and location were all superlative. Hidalgo and Nelson booked us with good restaurants, were so helpful with travel plans, and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast of omelets, baked goods, fruit and coffee was generous and delicious. The Cuidad Vieja was a lovely place to stay, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and it was quiet and safe.

Only 200 metres from Solis Theatre, Hotel Palacio offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV in central Montevideo. The Harbour Market in the old city is 1 km away. The location is super! Alley Sarandi. Opposite is a supermarket. The hotel offers coffee and cookies in a separate area for free. Interesting elevator. The room is comfortable, a comfortable huge bed, table, chairs, dressing table, wardrobe. The bathroom is equipped with a separate shower area, shampoo and soap. Polite, pleasant staff.

The room from this Hotel is amazing, definitely a really good one to consider if traveling alone or with your partner. I recommend this stay for couples, waking up in those rooms give you a good sense of comfort. Even though I recommend it for couples, I must say it is not the most romantic place, since it's accommodations are also used for business.

Great location, two blocks from the waterfront and central to the old city. Several nice design touches in the room. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and quite helpful staff. My son got bit by a dog in Buenos Aires and needed to get his third rabies vaccine in Montevideo. The staff made phone calls for us and found out the hospital we needed to visit to get his vaccine and the hours they were open for this. She was a real life-saver in a complicated situation for us. Would gladly stay here again.

Don is an exclusive boutique hotel with art deco architecture and contemporary interiors. Stylish but low key and super friendly attentive staff. Great bed.

Located in Montevideo, Puertovideo provides accommodation with rooftop pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. This was just the best little apartment. A real gem! We loved it. Great location and lovely staff. It is self contained and the apartments are not serviced, but you can get fresh towels if needed. It has a little kitchen also. Such great value, so clean and nice and lots of space and close to everything. We loved it!

Boasting a shared lounge, FAUNA Montevideo is situated in Montevideo, less than 1 km from Independencia Square. The design of the interior is stylish and the feel pleasant, the attitude very friendly. I had asked for a quiet room and indeed I received a very quiet room, well protected from all noise. The location is excellent for walking the pedestrian street.

Big apartments with nice view. Easy check in and check out. Very friendly owner and always in touch. Highly recommend!
