Built in 1874, this Victorian bed and breakfast is surrounded by lush landscaped gardens and 3 blocks of city parks. It features gourmet breakfast and evening wine tastings. We’ve stayed at the Simpson twice and both times we’ve been blown away by the surroundings and the team who work there. The rooms are unique and the gardens feel like a haven. The staff make every effort to help you have a good time, shout out to Frank especially!

Hands down one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. All of the staff were amazing! The front desk staff helped us navigate how to arrange for the shuttle, gave great tips about the area including which places were safe to walk at night, even drawing out on a map places they recommended visiting. Shuttle drivers are awesome getting us to and from airport even as we juggled with cancelled flights and flooding. They were all so friendly and genuinely caring. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Very quiet stay. Enjoyed the variety of coffee available and the perk of being able to make a complimentary hot oatmeal or grab an apple or orange if wanted to gab something quick instead of go and eat a sit down breakfast in the restaurant.

The rooms are of a very high standard with balconies The location is excellent being a few minutes from the centre of State St and near the best restaurants The staff were very helpful especially Fabian and Nate on the front desk We went to a Winery for a tasting and Fabian provided us with all the picnic accessories. The pool is small and comfortable to sit around Overall one of our best stays in Santa Barbara in a great boutique hotel

This historic hotel in downtown Santa Barbara is a 5-minute drive to the beach and Stearns Wharf. It is surrounded by an acre of gardens. Guests can enjoy the property's free WiFi as well. the room was high end and the bed so big and comfy. my best sleep of our journey. the garden was very pleasant. very well located, you just walk to the main street where you ll find most of the restaurants and shops.

This hotel is within 3.2 km of the Santa Barbara Zoo and Leadbetter Beach and Park. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi and a Starbucks Coffee shop right outside our doors. Very nice location, nera shops and restaurants.

Complimentary snacks and coffees and a shared complimentary bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. Also the only place in California we found that gave complimentary parking which was great.
