Offering suites surrounded by patios, Hotel Boutique Casareyna is set in a charming 17th-century house. Located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Puebla, it features a restaurant and art gallery. The Casareyna hotel was really great! The rooms were spacious, quiet and very clean. The beds were good (still quite small for Europeans, but bigger than most other hotels we visited). The breakfast and dinner were exquisite and really not expensive. The valet parking for only 50pesos a day was very nice in the center of the city. The pool was very nice and warm so we could even use it at a colder rainy day. We loved our stay and regret that we only stayed for one night.

Attractively located in Puebla, Cartesiano Boutique & Wellness Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. The welcome glass of water was amazing and then to choose the sent you want sprayed in your room at night makes you feel like you are at a wellness retreat. The place is lovely quiet and has a great pool area on the roof. You are metres from the markets great restaurants and a coupe of easy walking blocks to the main town square.

Ideally set in the centre of Puebla, Banyan Tree Puebla features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a fitness centre. The food is good overall, if you pay the extra 15 USD for the Brunch option is totally worth it, I do have to mention that the staff is great, Enrique at the Front desk was beyond attentive, the room exceeded expectations so was the bed.

All the staff, beginning with Enrique, ably assisted by Brenda, were great. Turn left or right when you leave the hotel, walk a couple of blocks and you're in the middle of something that makes Puebla a terrific city to spend more time in than you'd originally planned. There is a lively local bar, an unusual coffee shop/restaurant, a Circle K convenience store, and a bakery steps away. The hotel is modern, the room spacious, the bed large and comfortable, the amenities generous, and it is all kept very clean. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, the water hot; the TV and A/C behave as intended. A good breakfast is served on the roof which provides very good views and is open for other meals. There's a small workout area and a bar up there too, but BYO is ok for guests. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.
