I can't begin to describe how good my stay was here. The accommodations were amazing. The room was warm and cozy. The building was beautiful and looked new and clean but, had the charm of an old traditional Japanese home. I came to snowboard and they had a room to store and dry all my wet gear. They were able to handle shipping my snowboard to and from the airport with Yamato transport. There is a direct bus to and from Shiga Kogen every day as well. There is not an onsen on site but, you can buy tickets to various local onsens, all of which were spectacular. All onsens had an indoor and outdoor bath. Breakfast was served every morning and, it was great to eat and chat with other travelers. Truly, the best part about staying here was the owners themselves. Yoshi and Seong-mi were two of the kindest, most friendly people I've encountered on any of my trips across the world. They made my experience feel like I was staying with my brother and sister. In fact, the whole town of Yudanaka felt like home to me and, I know this is a place I will never forget for the rest of my life.

A 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Yorozuya features hot spring baths, a hot tub and Japanese-style rooms with a private terrace and private bathroom. The ryokan is very well organized, everyone is focused on providing a superior customer experience. I selected Yorozuya because of its beautiful onsen but I came away with outstanding memories of the kind and helful staff, the amazing breakfast and dinner experience.

O Tawaraya está situado a 5 minutos a pé da Estação Ferroviária de Yudanaka e apresenta acomodações de estilo japonês com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e uma televisão de ecrã plano. Staff excepcional. Foram gentis, prestativos e amigáveis. Nos ajudaram bastante em nossa passagem pela cidade, e nos fizeram ficar muito à vontade. O quarto é bonito, espaçoso e agradável, com futtons muito confortáveis. Todo o ryokan é lindo, com destaque para o onsen.

A small 6-room inn with Ryokan meals and cosy interiors, Yasuragi is just a few minutes drive to Jigokudani Monkey Park and an 8-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station. Hot-spring baths are featured.... Simplesmente magnífico! A hospitalidade da senhora Kobayashi é algo ímpar. Sempre disposta a ajudar. A localização do ryokan é muito próxima da estação, mesmo assim nos buscaram na estação e nos levaram até o snow monkey park(infelizmente não tivemos sorte de ver os macacos, devido ao mês da visita) , e no checkout tb nos levaram até a estação mesmo sendo bem cedo. As instalações do ryokan são lindas, bem tradicionais, amamos tudo. O onsen privativo pode ser reservado para casais, foi incrível. E o jantar excepcional, solicitamos o jantar na noite da chegada e saímos muito satisfeitos, grande variedade de pratos e tudo muito saboroso. Certamente voltaria a me hospedar lá numa próxima visita à yudanaka

O Aburaya Tousen apresenta luxuosas acomodações em estilo japonês contemporâneo, com 11 tipos de banhos termais excelentes e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. I enjoyed everything the whole experience is amazing. starting with welcoming drink and sweet, and we pick a Yukata. They explain everything and guide us to our room. the staff were extraordinary, super friendly and polite They will go above and beyond to help you. we got upgrade to bigger room, the private hot spring bath was awesome with view on the river. I like the private dining room, they me our special dietary request, the food was so delicious, the chef prepare sushi / egg infront of you it was fun experience. The owner came by herself to greet us and to say goodbye when we were leaving. They even took us to snow monkey park and the station for free. Thank you to all staff I really appreciate all efforts to make my stay unforgettable. I am for sure coming back again.

A 3-minute walk from Yudanaka Station, Hotel Tsubakino features indoor and outdoor hot spring baths with a vista of snowy mountain peaks. The hotel offers Japanese-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. The private bath in the room was incedible!

Yudanaka Seifuso is located in the Yudanaka hot springs area, surrounded by scenic mountains. It features 3 hot spring baths and traditional Japanese-style rooms with tatami-mat (woven-straw)... Very original Ryokan, nice and immersive experience in a typical room, sleeping on typical futon. Beautiful Onsen baths, very comfortable, clean and relaxing.

The unique hotel created special vacation atmosphere for us, revealing japanese authentic interior, resort feeling and welcoming hosts. The room was big and comfortable, futons were perfect for deep and long sleep. Onsen for guests helped relax and enjoy the stay.
