Excellent location with good restaurants nearby, close to beautiful Ueno park and Yushima station on Chiyoda line - a quieter line into the sights. Staff spoke English and were very helpful. We enjoyed the space and great shower with the best pressure we had in Japan. The room has really clever features like a shoe rack on entry, rail to hang clothes, compact but very functional kitchen.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour en famille. Cela fait 4 fois que nous venons à Tokyo et la première fois au Mimaru et nous sommes ravis. La chambre avec les lits superposés est très grande pour la ville. Il ne manque rien à niveau des équipements : couverts, micro-ondes, frigo,... Tout était très propre. Chaque jour, les poubelles sont vidées. Le personnel était vraiment adorable et dévoué. La situation proche de Ueno est très pratique pour tous les déplacements. Il y a un konbini à proximité, ce qui est très pratique. Je recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés !

The spacious room is well taken care of and clearly very new. The photos are exactly as it is. You can choose to get the room cleaned daily. It is a clean and well decorated space. We used the projector to watch Netflix at night, and took baths every day we were there. The bathtub takes forever to fill, but it is a nice "onsen" feeling after a day of walking. The morning breakfasts were delicious and the attention very polite. Traditional Japanese breakfast that is already set from 8:30 to 10:30am. We really liked the style and the quality was very good. Simple foods, but everything you need to start the day with a happy belly. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, even with a language barrier. Even for simple things like wishing a good day, we used Google Translate but the good intentions were clear. They also helped us bring our suitcases to the taxi and spoke to the driver to make sure we were going to the right destination. They also brought our suitcases up and down the stairs (no elevator, be ready for the classic Japanese steep stairs!) We also ordered something online and had it delivered at the hotel and they brought it to our room once it arrived. We enjoyed being within walking (~15-20 min) distance from a couple of our favourite neighbourhoods. The metro is also ~12 min away. It has a Family Market right across the street so if you need anything, you just need to come down.

Location was good, about 5 min walk to train station. Quiet at night, and not on a very busy street. Extremely clean and has that standard APA layout. Staff was very friendly and accommodated our luggage before and after our stay.
