Offering quiet street views and a shared lounge, Guest House Motomiya is set in the Magome district of Nakatsugawa, 20 km from Enakyo Wonderland and 40 km from Japan Taisho Village. Wonderful! Clean and tidy guest house with comfortable rooms. Bathrooms are shared but fine as not a lot of guests staying at once. Dinner and breakfast were superb and Keiko was the loveliest host. Would recommend to all.

Offering mountain views, Guesthouse Nedoko is an accommodation situated in Nakatsugawa, 21 km from Ōi and 21 km from Enakyo Wonderland. My mother and I stayed here on a mother-daugher holiday. We were welcomed with incredible hospitality and kindness. The woman who looked after us was so accomodating and helped us have a comfortable stay. The rooms were well outfitted and provided a stunning view of the mountains. The bathroom facilities were immaculate. There were great snacks avaliable for purchase at a good price which was an added bonus.

Located in the historical town of Magome, Tajimaya features Japanese-style accommodations in a 110-year old building. Each room features a flat-screen TV, and guests can relax in the public bath. Our stay at Tajimaya was the highlight of our trip so far. Excellent value for an authentic Japanese experience. Food was amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The host was super friendly and very helpful, even when we had some additional requests. Thanks so much for all the help! The rooms were veeery spacious (converted classrooms). The shared toilet & shower facilities were also very clean and nice—overall the building interior felt very new.

Just 40 metres from restored Edo-era post town Magome-Juku, Chaya Hotel has simple traditional rooms with futon bedding and a tatami-mat floor. I loved the atmosphere in Magome Chaya, it is traditional, and I enjoy the futon beds which can feel a bit hard for someone prefering soft matrasses. We had a lovely view from our room overlooking the mountains. The day we were in Magome was very warm but inside it was cool and pleasant. We additionally ordered food ( breakfast and dinner) in vegetarian option which was delicious. Host was very friendly and helpful
