The room is big compared to the Japanese standard and well insulated (very quiet during the night) The breakfast is amazing and the staff very kind.

Location in proximity to the railway station cannot be better. The onsen is beyond belief!

The Thousand Kyoto features air-conditioned rooms with satellite flat-screen TV in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto. Location next to the station was ideal to take the train for day trips. Just 2 minutes walk away. The hotel is beautiful and has a nice atmotherphere fusing modern and traditional design. The room was really nice. You can choose between a wester and japanese breakfast daily. Although we had many japanase breakfasts on our trip this one was the most impressive and delicious. Everything was so refined and delicate! The breakfast room for the japanese restaurant was also very impressive.

A cozy hotel located 10 minutes walk from Kyoto Station and along the way there is a majestic Hogashi Honganji temple and the view of Kyoto tower. There is also a subway nearby but we mostly travel from Kyoto station to take the train and bus. We took the 4 bedded room for a family of 3. The room and toilet space is really big, clean and comfortable. The staffs are really friendly and helpful. Free coffee, green tea and amenities at reception area. There is a water dispenser and microwave too. At a walking distance, there is a 24 hours laundry.

We only stayed for a night but will be staying longer next time.
