Just a 5-minute walk from Daitokuji Temple, Guesthouse Bon offers convenience in air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with no curfew. Its a traditional Japanese house, its always clean and kitchen has everything you need. Bon is a really kind person, always willing to help and he speaks english very well. Bon gave us many tips and local recommendation. Its just perfect.

If you are looking for a traditional ryokan, this is the place for you. Everything from the room to the small backyard garden was perfect. Everything was clean and tidy. This one day ryokan certainly provided a much needed rest for a hectic trip and it was good to take a break from the city. Not to mention the hospitality provided by Sasaki-san and his wife which was splendid. Sasaki-san took a lot of effort and time to prepare our meals starting very early in the morning to ensure that we were filled up before we left. Both meals provided by Sasaki-san was nothing short of perfect. The meals were prepared fresh each day and very good. We highly recommend this place because of the peacefulness, experience and food. This is a good place to just rest and unwind before moving on to the next city. If you are driving, Sasaki-san will also reserved a parking space for you if you provide him an advance notice. When we come back to Kyoto once more, we will definitely take a day or two and spend it here.

We liked the whole place, the atmosphere, the friendly welcome, the house was lovely done; both for how it was decorated (with good quality modern art in the bedroom!) All machines and appliances worked as we wished!!

Great little apartment, great location and we even got picked up from the station on arrival and dropped back when we left which was most appreciated given our heavy back packs. Highly recommend this place!

日照庵 Nisshouan, smeštajni objekat sa vrtom, nalazi se u gradu Kjoto, na 4,1 km od znamenitosti Svetilište Kitano Tenmangu, 5,5 km od znamenitosti Carska palata i 5,8 km od znamenitosti Zamak Nijo. Let me start with saying the host are lovebly and really kind. This was the first time of my friends and I in Kyoto, and Will absolutbly come back and stay more. We extended our stay with the Host when we saw the place, it was INCREDIBLE, amazing bathroom, and great bed, really spacious and traditional, it was a dream come true to be honest. We enjoyed the city by bikes that we rented right outside the house, the host offer us a traditional breakfast that was DELICIOUS, the sweet lady that came to leave us the food was also really kind and explain us the name of multiple things. I really wanted to take a shower in a big bathroom and this place have it, I ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT. Is a place with no much things around, But the MiniStop that is a convenience store was close by going in the bikes, So if you don't mind to ride a little and enjoy the local view, go in bike and enjoy the place, just be careful, the place is in a Hill so take a good rest, i was out breath sometimes, but really LOVE IT. Btw the Washing machine is great and the place have a big balcony, so you can dry your clothes there.
