The price was reasonable for the size of the rooms and the location. We had a nice breakfast in the hotel. The staff really do go out of the way to help you. The nearest bus stop was about 8 min by walk, and it was quite possible to walk to a number of good restaurants and shops.

Located around 15 minutes' walk from Florence centre, Hotel Jane is set in a peaceful district near the River Arno. Make the most of free Wi-Fi internet access here. The place is truly nice and comfortable, easy to reach and near enough to all the city attractions, well connected and nicely located for night walks. Stuff very welcoming.

FH Grand Hotel Mediterraneo is set on the banks of River Arno, 1 km from Piazza Santa Croce. Rooms offer free WiFi, and there is an à-la-carte restaurant serving Tuscan dishes and special diet menus. Excellent and friendly staff, we were able to leave the car in the garage until late afternoon the next day, excellent breakfast, great location

Set in a 19th-century villa by the banks of the River Arno, Hotel Arno Bellariva is 900 metres from Piazza Michelangelo square. It offers a garden and patio, plus free WiFi throughout. The reception was really helpful and polite whenever I had questions. The room was great and location was fantastic!

Hotel Grifone Firenze - Urban Pool & Spa offers rooms in a quiet, residential area of Florence with excellent transport links. We got very clean room (it's very important for me). Breakfast was really good, except coffee, but it isn't a problem in Firenze - we took coffee in the center:)

Hotel Bologna is located in a quiet street, a 5-minute walk from the River Arno. Rooms have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Bologna Hotel’s rooms have simple decoration. Very good hotel, clean and comfortable. The stuff was very nice, helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable! About the location- 7 minutes waking from central area, and located on nice and save street, close to big park and to the river. We really enjoyed from our stay.

Not in town centre, so away from traffic and noise. It is situated in a quiet residential area, on a quiet street, so no noise from outside. In any case the accommodation is to the rear of the building on the ground floor. Excellent and frequent bus service minutes from the flat to reach the town centre and/or railway station in around 15/20 minutes. Everything you need is there. Friendly owner, who met us at the flat for keys and introduction, also left some coffee, tea, biscuits, jam and even Nutella for first breakfast. Some other basic groceries too! Endless opportunities for shopping nearby. We didn't have a car....

Located at only 50 meters from the beginning of the Unesco historical center and at the 3rd floor of an early 19th-century building, with a cargo-lift suitable only for luggages. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. They even showed us on map many places to visit and gave us great recommendations for coffee place and restaurants. They also stored our bags the last day of our stay, which was a great help. Room was very clean and quite big, with new furniture with plenty of space to put stuff (even space for shoes and bigger luggage). All toiletries were provided and bathroom was spotless.
