UNAHOTELS Bologna Fiera is located just a few meters from the Bologna Fiere exhibition center and is only 10 minutes by car from Bologna Central Station and the bustling city center. Like everything they tell you in information. The rooms are nice and clean. The location is only a little bit further from the city but with the city bus you are in 10min in the city center. Breakfast was good and the staff was lovely and helpful.

A recently renovated property, L.ADY HOME is set in Bologna near Museum for the Memory of Ustica, Bologna Fair and La Macchina del Tempo. Both the room and the bathroom were comfortable and very clean. Good mattress and pillows. A Nespresso machine in the room with the variety of capsules to choose and also some teabags. Two bottles of water. We were a bit late beating through traffic on the way from Milano but the hostess Adriana kindly waited for us without any annoyance as we texted her on the delay. Adriana is a very friendly caring lady of a smile and a fount of information on the places to go in Bologna and around the city. The location is less than half an hour by foot from the historic centre or the railway station but one can also use public transportation, of course.

The apartment is well thought out, with clear information and communication everywhere. The owners have thought of everything and are extremely well prepared for guests. A fantastic experience!

In the San Donato district of Bologna, close to Bologna Fair, B&B Casa Santina has a garden and a washing machine. We were very satisfied with the accommodation and the communication beforehand. There was a parking spot for our car, which is now a big plus everywhere. The room was spacious and everything was clean. What I liked best was that everything was taken care of: Italian plug socket converter, several types of coffee, several types of breakfast etc. (Not just sweet Italian breakfast but salty too - with Italian ham and cheese - however it is recommended to buy some bread on the previous day.) There is a fridge, coffee machine, microwave etc. Everything was stocked, nothing was missing. There were also spare blankets. The TV had lots of channels (although we only watched one match summary), and was pleasantly warm. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped. Only the shower was a little small, but I'm really only writing this to say something negative too. The host lady was very nice, helpful and everything could be discussed with her in advance and on the spot too. The Wi-Fi was fast, easy to connect, but we just checked our emails and planned our daily trip and looked up some information about Bologna. The bed was comfortable, the lighting was very good, and it could be switched from the bed too. The accommodation is a little further out, about 30 minutes from the Porta San Donato where the city centre begins. Nearby is a huge Spar, there are groceries, a pizzeria (we didn't go in), a small restaurant (which unfortunately was closed the week we stayed there). You can take the bus to the city, but it's more exciting on foot, and it's really not that far. For us, it was very satisfactory in every way - after our experiences in Rome and Florence, this accommodation was much better than we had previously expected. The accommodation was quiet, calm, you could really relax. If we were to visit Bologna again, we would stay here.

[FIERA] Bologna Expo Home is located in the San Donato district of Bologna, 2.8 km from Museum for the Memory of Ustica, 3.6 km from La Macchina del Tempo and 3.7 km from Santo Stefano Church. Great value accommodation that had everything we needed. The host is very communicative and replies promptly. About a 15-minute walk to the main entrance of the Bologna Fiere, and a supermarket is only a three-minute walk away. Recommended.

Vista Fiera Bologna is set in the San Donato district of Bologna, 800 metres from Bologna Fair, 3.3 km from Via dell' Indipendenza and 3.9 km from Quadrilatero Bologna. Lorenzo was very polite and helpful. Very quick answer with any question. We arrived earlier and he let us leave our baggage at the accommodation. I also asked if he can order a taxi for us in the last day and the taxi waited for us in the morning in front of the building. It is near the Exhibition center so you can go by foot. The room was very clean. Near is a bus station from where you can take a bus to the city center or other places.

Set in Bologna, less than 1 km from Bologna Fair and 2 km from Museum for the Memory of Ustica, Bologna Travel Suite offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Great location…. Bus 20 and in 10 minutes you’re in the centre of the city in Piazza Maggiore. Very clean and very comfortable. Full functioning kitchen although I didn’t use it except from making coffee. A short bus ride to Bologna Centrale train station and the airport Marconi express train.
