Sonder Rideau ligger i centrala Ottawa, 7 minuters promenad från Rideau Locks och mindre än 1 km från Peace Tower. Very central. We could walk everywhere and it wasn’t in a sketchy street or anything. Also at a good distance to/from the airport. The room was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. They had extra towels, tissues and toilet paper under the bathroom sink. Kitchen was fully equipped as well. They also provided us with a laundry pod at the front desk.

Directly across from the National Arts Centre, this non-smoking, landmark hotel is only steps from major attractions, and offers spacious accommodations with 49-inch TVs and first-class amenities in... We really enjoyed our stay in the Lord Elgin. The staff in reception and the restaurant are superb. They are very helpful and professional. Three of us used the restaurant for breakfast for five days and it was always excellent and the staff really are brilliant. The beds are comfortable and the room was quiet. The location of the hotel is great. The Canadian War museum and the Canada Aviation and Space museum should not be missed. The only negative for us is that there is not a supermarket nearby. I would definitely stay here again though.
