We are Americans and don’t speak a lick of Portuguese and although her English wasn’t strong either, (but it’s 2023 and phones and google exist) so that wasn’t a problem AT ALL. She made sure we comfortable and had fun. She checked on us regularly. The location is safe and is in walking distance of great food, bars and shopping. I kinda didn’t want to do a review because I wanted to keep this hidden gem to myself, but Chris deserves all the raving reviews she can get. Thank you so much for making our Rio experience so amazing!

Located in the historical and cultural heart of Rio de Janeiro, this 5-star boutique hotel offers a unique concept of tropical design and panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro’s bay. The location and the view of the city were amazing. A short walking distance you’ll find a few local restaurants and bars. The ambiance was great. The staffing was polite, helpful. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Obiekt Tião Botelho Guest House, przeznaczony tylko dla osób dorosłych, znajduje się w miejscowości Rio de Janeiro i zapewnia ogród, wspólny salon oraz sprzęt do grillowania. I was in Rio de Janeiro for a week and wanted a place not too expensive, from where I could visit the city : it's near the Lapa neighborhood who's a place to see, there are groceries and restaurants nearby, etc. And for the most touristic places of the city, I went by taxi. I also wanted a place where I could have some calm for working on my computer : I stayed many afternoon on the balcony, it was perfect, sunny but not to hot and really quiet (as for the nights). The owner is really nice and makes you feel at home. For me, it's a great place for backpackers with low budget who wants to visit Rio and stay in a less-touristic area than Copacabana.

Hotel Casa Nova usytuowany jest w modnej dzielnicy Lapa w centrum miasta Rio de Janeiro, 10 km od pomnika Chrystusa Odkupiciela. Na miejscu znajduje się bar. It has a good location, has a nice pool and everyone is polite

Hotel Americano usytuowany jest w zabytkowej dzielnicy kulturalnej Lapa w Rio de Janeiro. Wszystkie pokoje są wyposażone w klimatyzację i telewizor z dostępem do kanałów telewizji kablowej. My room was large and my bathroom had been newly renovated and had a large jacuzzi. I also had a small entrance room that had a fridge and computer table. I was comfortable and overall enjoyed my stay. The location is relatively central although you do have to walk a bit to the metro.
