Loved Debora at the front desk, not only is she friendly, she’s also attentive even during people checking in and out en masse all day every day. All the other staff are great too, most understood basic English but would definitely help if you speak Spanish or Portuguese

Ideally located in the trendy and touristic Lapa District, where guests will find an array of entertainment options and can enjoy the local nightlife, Days Inn by Wyndham Rio de Janeiro Lapa is 2 km... We stayed here for 1 night before we eventually moved on to our next main hotel for our vacation. Days Inn Is in an easy location will lots of food places within walking distance. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was great, there was lots of options and it was tasty and filling. The staff we’re friendly, even though they didn’t speak English, they made a good effort to make us very welcome and explain the hotel facilities.

Offering an outdoor pool, Vila Galé is located right in Rio de Janeiro´s city centre. The hotel features a complete wellness centre and guests can enjoy their on site restaurant and bar. I liked the personnel, spacious rooms, breakfasts, and location. You won’t be disappointed to stay here. FYI: check ins/check outs on a slower side so plan it ahead.

Hotel Carioca is located in Rio de Janeiro's Lapa district. Arcos da Lapa Attraction is 500 metres away. Free WiFi access is available. Our room was on the top floor and we had fantastic view Breakfast was good Located in the central area, so you can just cross the street to get a party. Although it could be loud on weekends

Located 2 km from Rio de Janeiro commercial centre and 3 km from Flamengo Beach. The restaurant serves a daily buffet breakfast. WiFi is free and private parking is possible on site, at a surcharge. Great location in the middle of Lapa, nice and friendly staff. Very safe and clean

Américas Granada Hotel has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Rio de Janeiro. Staff were super friendly and service was great except when the pool bar is open it is almost impossible to get anything from the restaurant. It took 40min to get a Coca Cola up from the downstairs restaurant. They should just say “no service at the pool” and I would’ve got it myself. Other than that a great value stay.

Ideally located in the Lapa district of Rio de Janeiro, Hotel Casa Blanca - Adults Only is set 2.7 km from Flamengo Beach, less than 1 km from Escadaria Selarón and a 10-minute walk from Municipal... Spaces room and perfect location, many restaurants nearby

Hotel Atlantico Prime is situated in Rio de Janeiro's city centre and offers accommodation with a restaurant, private parking, a fitness centre and a bar. Stayed here a number of times as it was really worth the money. Very comfortable rooms.

Diamond Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Santos Dumont Airport, and just 200 metres from Marina da Glória. It provides guest with free WiFi and parking is also kindly offered free of charge. Room was large and clean and comfortable. Very close to the airport. Unfortunately I checked out too early for the free breakfast.
